One Arrested with 302 Kg of Marijuana in Saptari

 

Saptari: Police have arrested a person with a large quantity of illegal marijuana in Saptari district.

Police recovered 302 kilograms and 480 grams of marijuana from Joginiya in Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-8.

A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Hanumannagar, arrested 53-year-old Madhuri Mukhiya, a resident of Mukhiya Tole in Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-7, along with the marijuana packed in 12 sacks.

Police have taken the seized marijuana into custody and are conducting further investigation into the incident.

Authorities said necessary legal action and investigation are underway.
