US-Iran Tensions Escalate as Trump Signals Possible Largest Military Strike


 

Kathmandu, July 24 — Tensions between the United States and Iran have intensified after U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that preparations for what he described as the largest military strike against Iran are complete, with only the final decision remaining.

Speaking publicly, Trump said the U.S. military is fully prepared for a large-scale operation if necessary. He also remarked that Iran has not yet experienced the level of pressure or consequences he believes it should.

Iran responded swiftly to Trump's remarks. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that the United States would "pay a heavy price" if it continues military attacks against Iran. He stressed that diplomacy and negotiations—not further military action—are the only path to ending the conflict.

Meanwhile, the United Kingdom has placed its armed forces on heightened alert amid growing regional tensions. The British government said its military is prepared to defend the country and respond if the situation deteriorates.

Earlier, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) warned that if the United States uses British military bases for operations against Iran, the UK could also become a target.

The escalating rhetoric and military preparations by the United States and Iran have raised fresh concerns about stability and security across the Middle East.

  Siraha, July 24 — Traffic police have fined the rider of a motorcycle after a video showing Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmaker Bablu Gupta performing a risky stunt while riding went viral on social media. The viral video shows Gupta, who was elected to the House of Representatives from Siraha Constituency-1, standing on the back of a moving Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle.
