The conference, organized by Gharpajhong Rural Municipality, will be inaugurated by Minister for Agriculture, Forests and Environment Gita Chaudhary. Representatives from 421 local levels and 36 District Coordination Committees, along with elected representatives from metropolitan cities, sub-metropolitan cities, municipalities and rural municipalities across all seven provinces, have arrived in Mustang to participate in the event.

According to Gharpajhong Rural Municipality Chief Administrative Officer Bhim Kumar Basnet, more than 2,000 guests had arrived in Mustang by Monday evening. Strengthening cooperation among local governments and developing a collective commitment to address climate-related risks will also be among the key issues.
