Kathmandu, September 10, 2026 — Nepal were bowled out for 147 runs against Oman in the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026 at Bayuemas Cricket Oval in Malaysia.
After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, Nepal struggled against Oman’s disciplined bowling attack and lost all 10 wickets in 45.4 overs.
Nepal’s top order failed to make an impact, with the team losing four key wickets for just 36 runs. Opener Dev Khanal scored 13 runs, while Mohammad Aasif Sheikh contributed 11. Ishan Pandey was dismissed for just one run and captain Rohit Kumar Paudel managed only three.
Dipendra Singh Airee and Basir Ahmed then rescued Nepal with a crucial 93-run partnership for the fifth wicket. Dipendra top-scored with 51 runs from 76 balls, including four boundaries. Basir scored 47 from 88 balls with three fours and a six.
Basir’s dismissal in the 36th over triggered another collapse. Dipendra was also dismissed soon after reaching his half-century, leaving Nepal’s lower order struggling to add runs.
Nepal lost their final six wickets for just 18 runs. Gulshan Jha scored seven, Karan KC made five, and Sandeep Lamichhane contributed three runs. Sher Malla was dismissed without scoring, while Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi remained unbeaten on zero.
For Oman, Hasnain Shah and Jay Viram Odesara took three wickets each. Hasnain conceded 28 runs in 8.4 overs, while Odesara gave away 26 runs in 10 overs, including one maiden. Mohammad Imran claimed two wickets.
Oman now need 148 runs to win the match.
