Under the decision made on September 3, Khandananda Adhikari, who was serving as Chief District Officer of Jajarkot, has been transferred to Bara as the new CDO. Meanwhile, Bara’s current CDO, Dharmendra Kumar Mishra, has been transferred to Gorkha.

 

The reshuffle also includes the transfer of Mahendrakumar Sapkota from Salyan to Surkhet, Tulsi Bahadur Shrestha from Gorkha to the Ministry of Home Affairs or an office under it, and Rekha Kandel from Khotang to Dolakha.

According to the ministry, the changes were made to manage CDO positions following the implementation of its new organizational structure and staffing arrangements.

The ministry has also assigned Shravan Kumar Pokharel, who was transferred from the National Archives to the Home Ministry, as the new CDO of Jhapa. He will replace Shibaram Gelal, who resigned from the post effective September 2, although his resignation has not yet been approved.

The reshuffle covers officials serving in the ministry and district administration offices across the country.
