Kathmandu, August 28 — Prime Minister and all members of the Council of Ministers will contribute one month’s salary and remuneration to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support relief efforts for people affected by floods and other natural disasters.

The decision was made during a Cabinet meeting held on Thursday, according to government spokesperson and Education Minister Sasmit Pokharel.

According to the Cabinet decision, the one-month salary and remuneration of the Prime Minister and all ministers will be deposited into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
